The Highlights of the MAGPro2 X17 Programmer

2011

The first version of the MAGPro2 X17 ECU and TCU programmer was launched on the market in 2011 where it quickly became the new must-have chiptuning tool in the automotive sector.

2012

In early 2012, the first major protocols for ECUs and TCUs were released for the SW and later that same year, automatic checksum for ECUs and TCUs and a new protocol for Continental SIMOS PCR2.1 were also added.

2013

VAG DSG repair was released on the market as an X17 exclusive in March, 2013.

2014

At the end of 2014, new exclusive BOOT solutions for BMW Fxx ECUs were added.

2015

Starting in 2015, MMS began releasing protocols to program even more Bosch ECU models as well as Magneti Marelli, Siemens, Delphi and Continental ones.

2016-2017

Support for ZF TCUs was released in the summer of 2016 and Getrag TCUs followed in 2017 along with new solutions for ECU Continental Sid. Halfway through the same year, Magicmotorsport expanded the list of exclusive and free services offered on the MMS Helpdesk platform and implemented Magneti Marelli protocols, complete solutions for Continental SID2xx ECUs for a variety of vehicle brands, added more Continental Simos and KeiHIN ECUs to the vehicle list and completed support for all VAG group TCUs.

2018

Starts out strong with the initial release of the exclusive OBD solution for Bosch BMW Fxx ECUs that subsequently included all Fxx, Gxx and Exx series vehicles in OBD without Bootloader unlock. OBD support for ECU Delco and Denso soon follow and 2018 ends with the introduction to the market of the new MMS programmer for ECUs and TCUs: FLEX.

2019

The migration process of the MAGPro2 X17 to FLEX began in 2019.

2020

Production of the MAGPro2 line ceased in 2020 but MMS customers are offered the opportunity to keep their trusted MAGPro2 X17 programmer thanks to the Lifetime Use Authorization that allows them to use their tool forever without a subscription and without an active account while maintaining all functions: passwords, virtual reads and protocols, vehicle list, manuals and FAQs.

April 29th 2020

On April 29th 2020, the migration process of the protocols from MAGPro2 X17 to FLEX ended and FLEX became the Magicmotorsport flagship product. This revolutionary new ECU and TCU programmer allows work in total safety. It is a versatile and constantly evolving tool thanks to its scheduled software update releases that supports work in OBD, Bench, BDM, Bootloader, JTAG & AUD.
