Flex Version 8.29.0.0 Is Now Available
Korhex support expands to include additional Bosch ECUs from the VAG Group: MG1CS011, MG1CS111, and MG1CS163, equipped with the TC298 processor.
Already supported through Voltage Fault Injection (VFI) technology, these ECUs can now also be unlocked using Korhex, without the need to work on the PCB, reducing connection time and simplifying the procedure.
Once the unlock is complete, you can proceed directly in Bench mode to perform reading and writing operations, without having to reopen the ECU.
New Boot Glitch Protocol Organization
With this version, Flex also introduces a new protocol organization, distinguishing procedures according to the technology used:
- Boot Glitch: Identifies protocols based on Voltage Fault Injection (VFI) technology.
- Korhex: Identifies protocols that use Korhex technology.
This new classification makes it easier to identify the correct connection method within Flex, thanks to dedicated procedures and manuals for each technology.
Particular attention should also be paid to pins A1 and A4.
Licenses and Configurations
Access to the new protocols requires the FLS0.20 license or the Flex Full FLS0.5 configuration.
