Your role
You will join our Research and Development team at our headquarters in Sicily. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing firmware for embedded devices, ensuring efficient and reliable performance. You will collaborate with the hardware team to implement innovative solutions and solve complex technical problems.
You will be responsible for...
- Designing, developing, testing, and debugging embedded systems;
- Analyzing, designing, programming and modifying firmware using high-level languages (C, C++);
- Contributing to and maintaining design and user documentation;
- Defining system architecture and specifications;
- Estimating tasks and continuously improving methodologies;
You’ll be a great addition to our team if you have…
- At least 3 years of experience in firmware development and PCB design;
- An academic background in Electronic Engineering or similar;
- Experience with hardware and basic electrical engineering (schematic design, PCB layout, test equipment, etc.);
- Programming skills in C/C++;
- Expertise in writing highly portable and platform agnostic code;
- Knowledge of Firmware design and development of micro-controller-based products (STM-based);
- Proficiency in circuit specification and Altium Design;
- Experience with low-level interfaces such as I2C, SPI, CAN, RS232;
- Ability to design testable embedded systems, including edge cases;
- Familiarity with source control systems tools and best practices (Git, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of Italian and English (both written and spoken);
